On December 18, the People's Committee of A Luoi district announced that a traffic accident had just occurred in the district, killing one person.
The incident occurred at 11:00 p.m. on December 17, 2024, at Km 74 +600 National Highway 49 in Phu Vinh commune (A Luoi district), a tractor trailer with license plate 74C - 083.xx pulling a trailer with license plate 74R 007.xx, driven by Mr. Nguyen Nhat Hao (born in 1975, residing in Quarter 1, Dong Luong Ward, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province), carrying wood from Laos, overturned.
As a result, 1 person died and the tractor trailer was damaged.
The cause of the incident is being investigated by authorities.
