Initial information at around 7:00 a.m. on August 27, the truck was moving on Do Muoi Street in the direction from Linh Xuan overpass to Go Dua overpass. When reaching the section in front of a gas station in Tam Binh ward, the car suddenly crashed into a hard median strip in the middle of the road.
The strong impact caused the truck to break a sign, overturned and blocked almost the entire lane. The sign fell into the mixed lane, causing a young man riding a motorbike to brake suddenly and fall onto the road. Fortunately, this person only suffered minor scratches.
Discovering the incident, people nearby quickly helped get the truck driver out safely. The accident occurred during rush hour, causing traffic congestion.
Upon receiving the report, the Binh Trieu Traffic Police Team (HCMC Traffic Police Department) arrived at the scene in time to regulate traffic and coordinate in handling the incident. Currently, the authorities are urgently moving vehicles to relieve congestion.
