On the afternoon of December 30, news from the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene of Ha Tinh province said that in 2024, the entire Ha Tinh province established 982 food safety inspection teams, conducting inspections of 14,972 establishments.
Through inspection, detection and administrative sanction of 557 establishments with the amount of over 1.4 billion VND; the value of confiscated and destroyed goods and exhibits was nearly 452 million VND.
Also according to the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene of Ha Tinh province, in 2024, the rate of food production, trading and processing establishments inspected for compliance with food safety conditions according to regulations will be 96.3%.
Currently, the Lunar New Year 2025 is approaching, Ha Tinh authorities are developing a plan to strengthen coordination, inspection, timely detection, prevention, and strict handling of establishments violating food safety and hygiene.
