The special art program "Connecting Vietnamese - American melodies" was held at Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi) on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam - American Association.
The program has the participation of artists from two countries, especially the world-famous symphony orchestra - Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra - under the leadership of international composer Henry Cheng and 45 musicians from the US, creating great attraction for not only guests but also audiences who love classical chamber music in Vietnam.

Young Opera artist Duong Duc Hai showed his mettle and confidence to perform the song "Mamma" with the American symphony orchestra, receiving many applause from the audience.
The young male artist shows the maturity of a real Opera artist, although singing with a world-class symphony orchestra is an honor, it is also full of pressure for any artist.
However, overcoming those psychological barriers, Duong Duc Hai stepped onto the stage in a dignified way and successfully performed the song "Mamma".
This is also a classic Italian song, composed by Cesare Andrea Bixio and written by Bruno Cherubini. The harmony was arranged by musician and conductor Dustin T. (Vietnam), conducted by conductor Austin Chanu, Duong Duc Hai, and presented extremely professionally.

I am honored to perform in this program. Choosing this song is not only to give to the audience but also a gift I want to give to my mother and teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20" - Duong Duc Hai said.
In addition to Duong Duc Hai's performance, the duet of Divo Tung Duong and the 17-year-old singer - Top 5 of The Voice My - Mikaela Ayira also caused an explosion in the studio with an excerpt from the classic musical "The Phantom of the Opera" by Andrew Lloydber Web.
The two voices blended smoothly, pushing the audience's emotions to the climax, creating a strong impression on the audience present.
Duong Duc Hai has achieved quite a lot of success on the Opera stage in 2025. The child singer was the youngest contestant to participate in the Crescendo 2025 contest in Vietnam and won both awards, including the First Prize in the Festival Group (no major) and the Special Prize in the Competition Group (dedicated to students studying formal vocal music).
Duong Duc Hai is also a Vietnamese contestant competing at the TSP International Arts Festival, and won a Gold Medal. This is a large-scale and prestigious art event in China, attracting thousands of contestants to participate in the qualifying round and the final round held in Shanghai organized by the Center for Cultural Exchange at home and abroad under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of China.
