The number of traffic violations during the April 30 holiday in April and May 2025 decreased by 924 cases compared to the same holiday in 2024.
Of the 1,232 violations, there were 317 cases of alcohol concentration violations (down 256 cases compared to the same period); 200 cases of speeding violations, 7 cases of overloaded transport violations. The total amount of fines for each error is 3.215 billion VND, down more than 1.838 billion VND over the same period.
On May 4 alone, the authorities handled 240 violations, fining 587.5 million VND.
Also during the holiday, the whole city had 4 road traffic accidents, killing 3 people and injuring 1 person, reducing the number of cases, deaths and injuries compared to the same holiday in 2024.
