On December 19, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province announced that the Chairman of the province, Pham Anh Tuan, had directed to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and public service implementation activities in the province.
The Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee acknowledged that the work of inspecting public services associated with professional/public service training and coaching has been implemented synchronously and drastically in 2024.
This activity not only maintains discipline and administrative order but also improves the quality of public service performance, the quality of service to people and businesses, and overcomes the situation of "bureaucratic administration, stagnation, and fear of change".
Many cadres have met the requirements on work progress and quality, including difficult and unprecedented tasks, contributing to the socio-economic development achievements of the province in the past year.
However, there are still limitations in public service performance, especially at commune-level units, many of which are subjective and repeat offenders, although the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has repeatedly directed corrections.
To improve the effectiveness of public service implementation, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan requested agencies, units, and localities to review, learn from experience, and promptly and thoroughly overcome shortcomings and limitations.
Resolutely and strictly handle the responsibilities of organizations and individuals who continue to allow violations and shortcomings in the performance of public duties in the coming time.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province directed the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Inspectorate, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee and related units to strengthen inspections in areas such as: "Public affairs, civil servants; administrative reform; handling administrative procedures, providing online public services".
"If we detect cases of subjectivity, negligence, or lack of serious implementation, we must specifically name and handle them, or recommend that competent authorities handle the responsibilities of violators and the responsibilities of leaders," Mr. Pham Anh Tuan requested.
