The projects include the emergency embankment to prevent landslides on the Yen River bank (from the downstream of An Trach dam - Yen River bridge - Cam Le River junction), the emergency embankment to prevent landslides on the Qua Giang River, and the emergency embankment to prevent landslides on the Vinh Dien River bank through Thi An area, Hoa Quy ward (Ngu Hanh Son district).
In which, the investment project to build emergency anti-erosion embankments at key locations of rivers in Hoa Vang district is implemented in the direction of closely following the current shoreline, facilitating flood drainage, ensuring the flow curves in accordance with the natural terrain.
Mr. Huynh Quoc Tuan, Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works in Da Nang, said that the current construction progress is still following the contract schedule. During the construction process, the unit still mobilizes machinery and equipment, implements according to the signed contract and commits to follow the assigned schedule.
“To ensure the upcoming rainy season, the unit will research and reinforce vulnerable locations to prevent further landslides. Machinery and equipment will be mobilized for the sections that are about to be completed as soon as possible to avoid these sections being demolished during the upcoming rainy season,” said Mr. Huynh Quoc Tuan.
The investment projects to build emergency embankments to prevent landslides at vulnerable locations on rivers in Hoa Vang district will include a total of 8 embankment sections in the communes of Hoa Tien, Hoa Khuong, Hoa Phu, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Phong and Hoa Phuoc with a total length of nearly 13,000m.
In addition, the projects also have auxiliary works such as steps for operation and management, management and operation roads along the embankment, drainage systems, etc.
