On July 19, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Traffic Safety Committee said it is continuing to monitor and urge the implementation of local and central directives on ensuring traffic order and safety, while promptly handling arising issues according to its authority.
Regarding this issue, Khanh Hoa province requires the Provincial Police and departments, branches and localities, especially after the arrangement of administrative units, to proactively disseminate and synchronously deploy key solutions to curb and reduce traffic accidents, protect people's lives, health and property.
According to the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, in the first 3 months of 2025, the whole province had 109 traffic accidents, killing 59 people and injuring 83, an increase of 17 cases, 2 deaths and 25 injuries compared to the same period in 2024.
Of which, Nha Trang ward is the locality that recorded the highest number of accidents, deaths and injuries, followed by Ninh Hoa ward.
The bright spot is that there have been no traffic accidents in Khanh Vinh commune; Khanh Son commune only recorded 1 case, killing 1 person, leaving no injuries.
Currently, the police force across the province has strictly handled violations of traffic safety order such as: Compiling records of more than 6,400 cases; fining more than 12 billion VND; revoking nearly 690 driving licenses and temporarily detaining more than 830 road, rail and waterway vehicles.
