After a tree branch suddenly fell and damaged a car, a ward in Da Nang proposed that relevant agencies review trees with large leaning angles.

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Vo Truong Anh, Chairman of Hai Chau 1 Ward People's Committee (Hai Chau District, Da Nang City) said: "We have directed the force to check all trees in the ward and propose that if there are trees at risk of falling suddenly, we will ask the tree company to handle them soon."

According to Mr. Vo Truong Anh, Hai Chau 1 ward currently has many primary schools, some trees on the streets also have a large tilt towards the road. The locality has also sent a document to relevant agencies to handle it soon, to avoid the risk of falling, affecting students as well as passersby.

On the morning of November 16, a tree branch on the sidewalk of Nguyen Chi Thanh Street (Hai Chau District, Da Nang City) suddenly broke and fell onto the street. Hai Chau 1 Ward reported the incident to the Tree Company and the Hai Chau District Urban Management Department. There were no casualties, but it is still unclear why the tree broke while it was still very fresh.

Previously, at around 4:30 p.m. on August 21, in Da Nang, heavy rain and strong winds caused a Lim Xet tree in front of house number 336 Ong Ich Khiem Street (opposite Con Market) to be uprooted and fall on a woman, breaking her arm.
