HUE - Hue City Police strengthen measures to ensure traffic safety during Tet.

In order to ensure traffic safety before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2025 and spring festivals, Phu Loc Traffic Police Station (under the Traffic Police Department of Hue City Police) has synchronously deployed many measures in the assigned area.

On January 14, 15 and 16, the force organized propaganda and guidance on Decree 168 on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of road traffic.

The propaganda sessions were held at the Southern Hue bus station, Chan May - Lang Co port, and Loc Dien industrial park, Phu Loc district. The content emphasized new points, fines and driving license point deductions, thereby raising awareness of traffic law compliance for drivers, vehicle owners and workers.

Immediately after the propaganda session at the Southern Hue bus station, Phu Loc Traffic Police Station conducted alcohol and drug tests on drivers before leaving the station. In about 20 minutes, more than 15 drivers were checked and no violations were detected.

In addition to propaganda and inspections at bus stations, seaports, and industrial parks, Phu Loc Traffic Police Station also developed a plan to patrol and control key routes. The working groups focused on handling common violations such as: driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, overloading, revving the engine, causing disorder and insecurity.

These activities contribute to ensuring traffic safety, helping people celebrate Tet in safety and peace.
