Removing difficulties in headquarters and equipment for commune-level police in Hai Phong

Hai Phong - On August 27, the City Police organized an assessment of the current situation and orientation of the work to ensure facilities, equipment, and communication lines for the commune-level police.

At the conference, representatives of the Public Security of some communes, wards, special zones, and professional departments of the City Police spoke about some remaining problems, proposing solutions to remove difficulties in terms of facilities, equipment, and means of service since the Commune-level Public Security was established and put into operation from July 1, 2025. In particular, some units still face difficulties in working headquarters, equipment for ensuring security and order, statistical regimes, reporting, connecting transmission lines, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Le Trung Son, Deputy Director of the City Police, affirmed that the Party Committee - Director of the City Police always pays special attention to the Commune-level Police force in all aspects, including the issue of renovating and upgrading working headquarters, facilities, equipment, and work to meet working requirements in the new situation.

The Deputy Director of the City Police Department requested the Police of communes, wards and special zones to proactively overcome the situation and closely coordinate with the Logistics Department. At the same time, report to local Party committees and authorities to provide additional funding to repair and upgrade a number of offices; plan land locations in the locality to build new offices of the Commune-level Police in the locality in need, and implement them as soon as possible.

The Logistics Department needs to coordinate with the Personnel Organization Department to review and reasonably arrange support staff for units in need; continue to closely follow the grassroots, closely coordinate with the Commune-level Police, promptly record the shortcomings and difficulties in the facilities of the Commune-level Police. From there, there are specific and timely solutions to ensure that the Commune-level Police operate regularly, effectively, continuously, and perform well their tasks.
