In recent days, the center of Hanoi has become a meeting place for tens of thousands of people and tourists when large-scale gathering sessions for training, preliminary reenactment, and rehearsal of parades and parades were held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.
The image of the lines of people waiting patiently, wearing red flags with yellow stars, and singing the bustling songs of the army has left a strong impression not only on Vietnamese people but also on many international tourists.
Daniel and Terry, two tourists from Australia, said they stayed in Hanoi for a whole week to witness the preliminary and final rehearsals of the parade.
Daniel shared: During the 7 days in Hanoi, I watched the parade three times, including a rehearsal, pre-show and rehearsal. I want to find out why people are so excited. This is a huge event, everyone is proud of the country, many people wear shirts and hats with national flags. I also saw many children enthusiastically participating.
Comparing with the National Day holiday in his hometown, Daniel said: In Australia, we also have parades on National Day, but certainly the number of people watching the parade is not as crowded. The Vietnamese people are wonderful, everyone has waited a long time to witness this moment.
There is national pride in any country, but in Vietnam, I see that pride expressed very clearly and strongly, Daniel affirmed.
Meanwhile, Bob and Sanda, an American tourist, woke up early to attend the rehearsal on the morning of August 30 because they heard a lot about this event.
Bob said: I have only been here for a few days, but everywhere mentions this event. People wear red shirts with yellow stars and sing together, so I asked the hotel staff and was explained that it was a parade to celebrate National Day.
American tourists were impressed by the bustling atmosphere: The Vietnamese people are very friendly, I feel completely secure in the midst of a crowded crowd. This is the second time I have returned to Vietnam in 20 years, and I find the national spirit here very strong. The younger generations are more proud, ready to move forward".
On September 2, Vietnam held a ceremony, a parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (A80) at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi. The parade has the full participation of forces, including ground forces, mechanical forces, air and water forces. The parade of nearly 16,000 people, including 43 moving blocks, 18 standing blocks and 14 military and special artillery vehicles of the Army and Police.
The rehearsals, preliminary reviews and rehearsals took place from mid-August, attracting a large number of people and tourists to the streets around Ba Dinh Square.
