Gia Lai - Giant Bryde whale suddenly appeared hunting for prey in Nhon Ly sea area (Quy Nhon Dong ward) creating a spectacular scene.

They are widely distributed in tropical and subtropical seas, including a smaller species (theun) that lives in the West Pacific and Southeast Asia. Adults Bryde sharks are about 12-14m long, the maximum can be 15.5m long, weighing 12-16 tons. Their average life expectancy is about 50-60 years, with some individuals living up to 70 years.
