A Korean tourist waited in line to enjoy the famous Pho Ly Quoc Su in Hanoi after reading many articles introducing this place.

On February 3, a Korean travel blogger nicknamed Dink visited Hanoi with her friends. She searched social media and saw many good reviews about Pho 10 Ly Quoc Su, so she went to experience it.

This pho restaurant has been famous in Hanoi for many years, established by the owner from Nam Dinh around 2004-2005.

Even though Dink arrived before lunchtime, the restaurant already had a long line of customers, including quite a few foreign tourists. The inside of the restaurant was packed with customers coming and going.

"A bowl of pho costs 65,000 VND (about 3,800 won), which is really cheap. The three of us only spent 335,000 VND (about 18,000 won) for 3 bowls of pho, 2 bottles of beer and fried breadsticks to eat with it," Dink shared.

"The meat is very fragrant and delicious. I have tried many pho restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Sa Pa and Hanoi, but I find Ly Quoc Su pho to be the best. The clear and rich meat broth suits my taste. Dipping fried dough sticks in the pho sauce is really delicious. With the affordable price, I understand why this pho restaurant is so famous," the female tourist wrote.

In Korea, a bowl of Vietnamese beef pho is usually sold for around 10,000 won (about 170,000 VND), and famous restaurants can even charge up to 14,000 won (240,000 VND).

This price is 3-4 times higher than pho in Vietnam. That is part of the reason why Vietnamese cuisine is more attractive in the eyes of Korean and international tourists.
