Located on Nguyen Hoang and Cong Nu Ngoc Hoa streets (Hoi An ward, Da Nang), right next to the poetic Hoai River, Hoi An night market stretches about 300 meters, gathering more than 50 large and small stalls.
Every night, when night falls, this place is lit up by thousands of colorful lanterns, creating a magical and sparkling scene, both ancient and romantic, attracting anyone who has visited it once.
Hoi An night market is not only a place for buying and selling but is also considered an "open stage" recreating the traditional beauty of Hoi An street. Visitors can leisurely walk under the lights, capture brilliant photos next to the high hanging lanterns, or immerse themselves in the bustling life of the ancient city at night.

The most prominent thing at Hoi An night market is the sophisticated handicraft stalls, created by the talented hands of local artisans. From traditional lanterns, ceramics, sculpted wooden furniture, folk paintings, to brocade cloth bags, silk scarves, paper fans, hand-embroidered wallets... all attract tourists.
I really like the handicrafts here, said Joshua Stone, a British tourist. The fan, cloth bag or bracelet are meticulous and skillful. I have chosen a few souvenirs to bring home, feeling like I am keeping a part of my souvenir in my luggage about Hoi An".

Not only selling souvenirs, Hoi An night market is also a " street food paradise" with dozens of shops next to each other. Tourists can easily find Cao Lau, Quang noodles, Hoi An bread, cakes, mixed sweet soup, nem lui, or fragrant grilled meat skewers.
The special thing that makes many people who love night markets not only go shopping or eat but also have cultural experiences imbued with the character of Hoi Street. Here, visitors can sit on a boat to enjoy the scenery, release flower lanterns on the Hoai River or listen to the club song, watch live shows, and chat with local people.

However, besides the irresistible beauty, night markets still have some limitations.
An anonymous French tourist confided: The market atmosphere is very vibrant, the handicrafts are beautiful, but sometimes I feel a bit uncomfortable because some shops are soliciting and ripping off customers.
Some people quoted me a gua sha (face massage rock) for a few dozen USD, it was even more expensive when I bought it in my hometown. After I left, they held me back and eventually agreed to sell me for 5 USD (about 131,000 VND).
