On the afternoon of September 6, the People's Committee of Hoi An Ward (Da Nang City) coordinated with the Hoi An World Cultural Heritage Conservation Center and representative units of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development of Korea to organize the opening ceremony of the Korean Food Festival in Hoi An 2025.
At the festival, visitors were introduced and enjoyed many typical Korean dishes such as kimbap, kimchi, traditional drinks, and typical Korean products.
The special feature of the program is the free open-air culinary space, where visitors can try dishes for free and interact directly with the chef.
In addition, the festival also brings a series of attractive artistic and entertainment activities such as: Hoi An traditional art performances, Korean guitar and violin performances, check-in experiences, shopping and souvenir gifts. The event took place on September 6 and 7.
Bringing Korean products to the festival, Mr. Kim Geumyoung - Manager of F&B Vietnam Co., Ltd.,ltd, said that the festival is not only an opportunity to promote Korean culinary culture, but also contributes to promoting exchanges, trade cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
"We are honored to introduce typical Korean products to a large number of people and tourists in Da Nang. We hope that, through the festival, Vietnamese consumers will have more diverse experiences and have more confidence in the quality of products that Korean enterprises bring," Mr. Kim emphasized.
The 2025 Korean Food Festival in Hoi An is not only a journey to discover the quintessence of Korean cuisine, but also a cultural exchange space, contributing to strengthening the friendship between the two countries. This promises to be a cultural - tourism destination for locals and tourists, while creating opportunities for Korean products to approach the Vietnamese market closer.
