Last weekend, My Dinh Stadium exploded with the K-Star Spark in Vietnam 2025 music festival, gathering a cast of famous Korean stars such as G-Dragon, CL, DPR Ian...
Among them, the male artist born in 1990 DPR Ian quickly became a name sought after by Vietnamese audiences after the show.
Not only did DPR Ian surprise fans with their captivating performance, it also surprised them when it posted a photo of them having a meal at a popular pho restaurant in Hanoi, right after the concert ended.
On his personal Instagram page, the male artist captioned in Vietnamese: Thank you Vietnam. I look forward to seeing you again.

The photo immediately launched a huge search on social media: Which pho restaurant caught the eye of a Korean artist?
Fans quickly identified this address as Pho That - a night pho restaurant over 40 years old located on Tran Nhat Duat street, Hanoi.
That night, singer DPR Lan stopped by, the restaurant owner did not know that he was serving a famous artist.
Ms. Luong Phuong Loan - restaurant representative - revealed that the male singer came to enjoy pho at night before the concert in My Dinh.
At that time, I only thought it was a team of any Korean singer performing at My Dinh. At that time, the restaurant was also crowded so they didn't pay much attention. The next day, seeing the photo circulating online, my child told me, I just knew, she recounted.

Although not proactive in promoting, the pho restaurant has suddenly become a "hot" destination for young people - especially Korean music fans in Hanoi - after DPR Ian's post.
Many people came and checked in right where the male singer was sitting, ordering the dish he used.
"In fact, it has a bit of an impact on regular customers of the restaurant because the restaurant is not large and has limited seating. But I am happy that Vietnamese dishes are loved by international friends. The singer posted a photo himself, which means he really liked it. That makes me proud to have contributed to promoting Vietnamese cuisine internationally, Ms. Loan shared.

The restaurant is open from 6pm the previous night to 6am the next morning, mainly serving customers and workers.
Ms. Phuong Loan said that her family has been selling beef stew since 1980, passed down through three generations. "My family has only specialized in beef processing, since the time of my parents, and then my husband and I continued," Ms. Loan shared.
The menu here only has a few basic dishes such as rare, well-done, black sticky rice, gourd, corn, beef balls, but the most prominent is the beef stew with red wine sauce. The stewed beef is soft, the sauce is rich but not too strong, accompanied by clear, sweet broth from the stewed bones
The DPR Ian event, even if it was just a small moment, once again affirmed the appeal of Vietnamese cuisine - not only to domestic people, but also to international visitors, especially famous artists.

DPR Ian (real name Christian Yu) is a multi-talented artist with two Korean and Australian bloodlines. He was born in 1990 in Sydney and grew up in Wollongong, Australia.
DPR Ian debuted as the leader of K‐Pop C‐Clown, under the stage name Rome. After a poor start, C‐Clown disbanded, DPR Ian and his colleagues formed Dream Perfect Regime (DPR). This is a multimedia corporation, where DPR Ian is in charge of the role of director, editor, and art director.
