Coming to Southeast Asia for the first time and choosing Vietnam as a stopover, American tourist Skye Gigi was very impressed with this S-shaped country. Although she and her family have traveled to many countries around the world, the memories in Vietnam are truly engraved in the mind of the female tourist.
In particular, on the flight from Vietnam back to the US, the female tourist was really surprised by the hospitality of the Vietnamese people. She was very surprised by this action.
Ms. Skye shared with Lao Dong: "My husband sat next to a Vietnamese woman on a flight home. That woman was really kind, she invited us to eat the fruit she had pre-sold and contained in a box."
The four members of her family later happily ate fruit with that strange guest. Ms. Skye is especially impressed with Vietnam's dragon fruit.
However, because she was sitting in different rows of seats, during the trip, she did not have the opportunity to talk to the kind Vietnamese woman.
"We really didn't know who that was, but she treated us like family members. Although the whole family is flying back to the US, her friendliness makes me think that I am still in Vietnam. I really thank her," the female tourist expressed.
Skye's family visited Vietnam in the last 2 weeks of July, staying in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. The female tourist especially loves Hoi An for its beauty, cuisine and people here.
Ms. Skye could not hide her feelings: "Hoi An, to me, does not seem to be a tourist or commercial destination. I am truly immersed in the ancient beauty of the rows of houses sweeping the golden lime. Of course, the food and people here are also great. I like chicken rice, banh xeo and the special pain trai here the most, cao Lau. Regarding fruits, I like all types of tropical fruits, except durian (laughs)".
The friendliness of the local people moved the female tourist. She received countless compliments from local people when she wore a traditional Vietnamese ao dai. She had interesting conversations with local drivers.

"The Vietnamese people are very generous and friendly. When we went swimming in Da Nang, a local resident pulled a dog into the water. I suggested that I could keep this dog and immediately received the consent of the owner. They are easy to love. I have so many happy memories of my trip to Vietnam that I may find it difficult to remember," Ms. Skye happily said.
The female tourist shared more: "My grandmother is from Hue. However, she later settled in the US. This trip to Vietnam really impressed me. This trip is truly worth 10 points.
I missed Vietnam so much that when I returned to the US, I started looking for ingredients and cooking dishes such as beef stew and Hoi An chicken rice. I hope that my grandmother will accompany my upcoming trips to Vietnam."
