Western tourists overwhelmed by the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam

Hanoi - Many foreign tourists are excited to experience the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere on Hang Ma Street for the first time.

Hang Ma Street in the days leading up to the Mid-Autumn Festival not only attracts the people of the capital but also conquers international visitors with its brilliant colors and vibrant festive atmosphere.

After two weeks of arriving in Vietnam, passing through Ninh Binh and Cat Ba, two tourists Gaia and Amira from Italy, shared that what impressed them most when visiting this neighborhood was the unique difference.

The street has a completely different look compared to the places Gaia and Amira have passed through in Vietnam. The road is filled with sparkling lanterns, brilliant with colors, evoking a bustling and attractive festive atmosphere.

In our country, there are also a few festivals that children love very much such as Halloween or Christmas, but the experience here has a very unique feel. We have also tried moon cakes, although the flavor is quite rich and strong, it is very harmonious and delicious, said Ms. Gaia.

As for Ms. Shir, a tourist from Israel who just arrived in Hanoi yesterday, expressed that Hang Ma Street really made a strong impression on her. The whole street is covered in many colors with many types of bright lanterns, lights, decorations and most notably the bright red color of the Vietnamese flag flying everywhere.

At first, when she first set foot here, she was a bit overwhelmed by the vibrant festive atmosphere. However, after a day of visiting, she really enjoyed and fully immerged herself in the festive space here.

The festival here reminds me a little bit of Yom Ha'atzmaut Independence Day in Israel, when people also flock to the streets to have fun, immerse themselves in the bustling atmosphere and bright stalls filled with lights and decorations. However, the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam is held grandly and much larger.

The most noticeable difference is that in Israel we do not have lanterns shaped like animals such as dragons or fish. Despite cultural differences, witnessing and experiencing the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam really excited me, she added.

Visiting Hang Ma, Phung Hung, Hang Luoc streets, visitors can enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere, shop with many new, attractive, colorful items such as lanterns with countless shapes, teddy bears, he boxes, animal-shaped plastic lamps, plastic and wooden toys, fake flowers, bracelets...

In general, the items have been innovated with many types of attractive and attractive goods and prices not too different from last year. Small paper lanterns cost from 20,000 VND, lion-shaped lanterns will cost from 100,000 - 120,000 VND, decorations and small toys will cost from 20,000 - 50,000 VND.
