2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the couple Nguyen Thi Thuy Quynh (29 years old, Son La) together, so both of them celebrate this important anniversary with a trip across Vietnam. The couple even bought a car to realize this dream.

In particular, knowing information about the series of activities in the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification held in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Quynh's family carefully calculated to be present at the parade on April 30.

From April 16, the couple started driving to the northern mountainous region and are expected to reach the trip's goal within 15-20 days.

The car is small but fully equipped with cooking and on-site resting equipment. In particular, the car was hung with the national flag by the couple, so the car was welcomed by people everywhere it went.

Ms. Quynh expressed: "This is a very meaningful trip for us. On the way to Binh Thuan, we also met Mr. Tran Van Thanh riding a motorbike from Nghe An to Ho Chi Minh City to watch the parade. I really admire him because at the age of 76, he is still healthy and has an admirable patriotism".

Ms. Quynh's family was in Ho Chi Minh City in time to watch the preliminary and final rehearsals of the parade and parade on April 25 and 27.

Also a backpacker from the North to Ho Chi Minh City with his family, Mr. Dang Van Hai (35 years old, Hai Duong) eagerly awaits the parade more than ever. Departing from Hanoi on April 24, Mr. Hai and his wife camped at each stop to be able to fully admire the beauty of the S-shaped strip of land on this important trip.

Hoang Minh Hieu (25 years old, Ha Giang) has been riding a motorbike from the far North since April 15. Right after the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, the young man cherished the plan to travel across Vietnam during this grand festival.

He said: "On this journey, I met quite a few friends who also rode motorbikes from North to South. I myself received a lot of help from everyone; especially Mr. Lanh in Quang Ngai, at first he only gave us watermelon and then invited us to stay and eat at his wife's house (laughs)".

It took me 11 days to get to the city named after Uncle Ho. Completing the first leg of the journey is a source of pride," the young man expressed.

Mr. Phung The Quyen (36 years old, Hanoi) was in Ho Chi Minh City in time to watch the general parade and parade on April 27, avoiding traffic overload and spending more time visiting historical sites. On the way, driving, meeting like-minded friends, Mr. Quyen saw everyone heading to the South with an excited spirit and strong patriotism.

Towards the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, not only individuals choose to visit and relax in Ho Chi Minh City but many groups of tourists also want a memorable holiday.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hien, Deputy Director of PYS Travel, said that on the occasion of the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year, the number of tourists booking tours in Ho Chi Minh City has shown positive signs.

" Tourists coming to Ho Chi Minh City will combine a 4-5 day tour including Ho Chi Minh City - Western region, Ho Chi Minh City - Nam Cat Tien or a one-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi - Saigon Border Gate memories. In addition, this year, we have seen a large number of customers booking travel combos including air tickets and hotel rooms in Ho Chi Minh City. The number of tourists booking tours to Ho Chi Minh City this year accounts for 20% of the number of tourists booking domestic tours during major holidays," said Ms. Minh Hien.

Travel agencies also arrange a free day in the holiday schedule on the general parade day of April 27 or the official parade day of April 30, so that visitors can directly attend the national big festival.
