Vietnam officially has 9 Michelin-starred restaurants. CeiL and Coco Dining are two new restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City to be awarded a Michelin star.

Gia

Located on Van Mieu Street, Dong Da District, Gia is one of the first restaurants in Vietnam to receive Michelin stars since 2023. The restaurant was built on the foundation of an ancient villa over 100 years old, bearing the strong imprint of ancient Hanoi architecture.

The restaurant specializes in serving tasting menus that change seasonally, honoring the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine through modern processing methods. Each dish is a work of art, combining sophisticated cooking techniques and familiar, nutritious ingredients such as lobster, sea urchin, plantain... along with typical vegetables such as coriander, Korea, basil, mint.

With menus from 1.8 - 2.6 million VND/guest, Gia is an ideal choice for those who want to experience high-class Vietnamese cuisine in a luxurious and cozy space.

Hibana by Koki

Hibana by Koki is the only Teppanyaki Japanese restaurant in Vietnam to receive a Michelin star. The restaurant is located in the basement of Capella Hanoi Hotel, Le Phung Hieu Street, Hoan Kiem District. sophisticated space with dark tones, creating a luxurious feeling. The restaurant only serves a maximum of 14 guests per session, providing a unique and private culinary experience.

Hibana by Koki stands out with its Teppanyaki style - cooking directly on a hot table by chef Hiroshi Yamaguchi. The menu here is made from high-end ingredients imported directly from Japan such as Yaeyama Kyori beef, lobster thorn...

Prices at Hibana by Koki range from 5.5 - 8.5 million VND/guest. The restaurant also offers a special Michelin menu at a price of 11 million VND/guest, including sake wine.

Tam Vi

Tam Vi is located on Yen The Street, Dong Da District, specializing in serving traditional Northern dishes, imbued with the flavor of the homeland.

With about 20 tables, Tam Vi can serve about 100 diners at the same time. Simple wooden furniture, bamboo stick tubes, porcelain tables and chairs and terracotta pots, create a familiar feeling like family meals. In addition, the restaurant also has a small yard with many trees, suitable for sitting on cool days.

Tam Vi's menu includes more than 100 dishes, changed seasonally, with rice trays with typical names such as Huu Thanh, Trung Bac and Nam Phong... Highlights include braised fish, braised eggs, squid soup cooked with squid, fried tofu, boiled water spinach, watermelon, watermelon, etc.

Individual dishes cost from 55,000 - 400,000 VND/dish. In addition, diners can order rice trays with dishes in a set, priced from 700,000 - 1 million VND/tray, suitable for 2-3 diners.

Akuna

Akuna is a prominent fine dining restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City, located on the 9th floor of Le Meridien Saigon Hotel, with a luxurious space with a 180-degree view towards the Saigon River and Ba Son Bridge. The highlight is the chandelier made from 1,100 Murano glass pipes, simulating the flow of the ocean, creating a mysterious and romantic space.

Akuna has an innovative culinary style, combining the modernity of Australian cuisine and familiar Vietnamese ingredients. The restaurant serves a menu of 6 dishes, changing seasonally with prices starting from 3.9 million VND/guest.

Some special dishes here include shima-aji sashimi, Hanoi goose with red jelly, scallop cake and sour melon eaten with Wagyu Australian beef...

Eating Saigon

Located on Ton That Dam Street, District 1, An Saigon offers a unique culinary experience, combining Vietnamese street food with modern cooking techniques. The restaurant space is compact and cozy with about 40 seats, both indoors and outdoors, with a classic yet equally interesting style.

The outstanding dishes here include pho, banh mi, banh xeo taco, pizza da Lat snails, bun cha Bourdain... Currently, Eat Saigon serves two main tasting menu menus: Saigon Tasting menu menu consists of 10 dishes, priced at about 1.6 million VND/person and Chef's Tasting menu consists of 12 dishes, priced at about 2.4 million VND/person. In addition, the restaurant also serves retail dishes with prices ranging from 170,000 - 700,000 VND/dish.

Coco Dining

Coco Dining is a famous fine dining restaurant located on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 3. The restaurant space is designed compactly, minimalist, sophisticated, highlighted by open-top stalls and black granite stone tables.

Each dish is a harmonious combination of local ingredients, modern cooking techniques and traditional fermentation art. The menu is constantly changing seasonally, ensuring freshness and honoring the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine.

Currently, the restaurant offers two main menu options. The degustation menu (tasting menu) includes about 12 dishes, designed delicately to bring a unique culinary experience. The price ranges from 1.7 - 2.5 million VND/guest, depending on the specific menu and accompanying options.

La carte menu allows diners to freely choose dishes according to their personal preferences. The prices for the dishes in this menu usually range from 278,000 - 2.9 million VND, depending on the dish and ingredients.

CieL Dining

Located on Street No. 50, Thu Duc City, CieL Dining stands out with its modern villa architecture, combining sharp symmetry and open space. The highlight is the open stove in a 12-degree incline, allowing diners to directly observe the food processing process. The space is surrounded by a tropical garden, bringing a feeling of relaxation and closeness to nature.

The restaurant was founded by chef Viet Hong, who has 14 years of experience working at famous restaurants in Europe and Japan. Here, there is a degustation menu of 10 - 14 dishes, a delicate combination of French cuisine and indigenous Vietnamese ingredients, with some imported ingredients such as scallops from Hokkaido, pigeons from France...

The restaurant serves a menu in a single set at a price of 2.9 million VND/guest, excluding taxes and service fees. Diners who want to enjoy dinner at the restaurant also need to book a table in advance and deposit 50% of the total bill.

Long Trieu

Long Trieu is a luxury restaurant located on Dong Khoi Street, District 1. The restaurant is designed in the style of a palace, the interior uses precious materials such as marble, sophisticated carved wood, hand-embroidered silk paintings recreating Chinese ancient relics... bringing luxury beauty.

The restaurant has 9 separate dining rooms, providing a private and cozy space, ideal for family gatherings, partners or important anniversaries.

Long Trieu specializes in serving traditional Quang Dong dishes such as bird's nest, pigs roasted with honey, ducks roasted in Beijing, dim sum, Hong Kong-style steamed fish sauce... Here there are a variety of different menus with prices from 1.2 - 3.6 million VND/guest.

La Maison 1888

La Maison 1888 is the only restaurant in Da Nang to receive a Michelin star, located in the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort on Son Tra peninsula. The restaurant stands out with its luxurious space, designed like an ancient French villa in Indochina style, designed by architect Bill Bensley.

Here, there is a seasonal menu, combining the quintessence of French cuisine with fresh ingredients from Vietnam. Some outstanding dishes of the restaurant include Hokkaido grilled scallops, Vietnamese boiled snails wrapped in Italian Cannelloni pasta tubes... In addition, La Maison 1888 owns a wine bar that has been awarded by wine Spectator for the 7th consecutive year with many rare wines.

The restaurant has menu sets from 5.9 - 7.5 million VND/guest. When booking at the restaurant, diners also have to deposit 1 million VND/person.
