The Vietnamese men's football team arrived in Bangkok, Thailand at noon on January 3 to prepare for the second leg of the final match at the 2024 ASEAN Cup.
The second leg final between Vietnam and defending champion Thailand will take place at 8pm on January 5 at Rajamangala Stadium.
Coach Kim Sang Sik and his team stayed at Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi resort, about 27km from Rajamangala Stadium, equivalent to 30 minutes of travel.
This is a 5-star resort located on the route between Suvarnabhumi International Airport and the center of Bangkok. This complex resort has an 18-hole golf course, high-class spa, outdoor saltwater infinity pool...
The resort starts at around VND4.5 million ($210) a night for a room with two double beds. The Presidential Suite costs around VND16 million ($750) a night, sleeping up to three people, with views of the resort’s golf course.
Inside the resort there are three restaurants, including an Italian restaurant next to the golf course, a Thai restaurant and a European restaurant.
Although the home team had to play away, many Vietnamese fans went to Thailand from January 4 and on January 5 to support Mr. Kim Sang-sik's team. This will be the motivation for the players to continue fighting and bring home a favorable result.
