On April 29, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province said that it had just coordinated with the Command of Military Region 7 to organize the inauguration and handover ceremony of 60 adjacent houses for border militia posts in Quang Truc commune.

This is a border area that is still facing many difficulties, people's lives are still lacking, and infrastructure is not synchronized.
Leaders of Lam Dong province said that building a residential point with 60 houses not only contributes to stabilizing housing; while improving people's lives, it also has strategic significance in combining socio-economic development with strengthening national defense and security.

Thereby, making an important contribution to the task of building a people's national defense posture associated with the people's security posture right from the grassroots level.
This is a major policy, showing the humanity and concern of the Party, State, and Army for people in border areas.

From there, affirming the core role of the armed forces in building and developing localities, helping people feel secure in sticking to the land, sticking to the village, and jointly protecting territorial sovereignty.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Tran Vinh Ngoc - Political Commissar of Military Region 7 - said that 60 houses were built with a total cost of more than 12.5 billion VND (of which Military Region 7 supported 6.5 billion VND, local authorities and people countered 6 billion VND).

Each house has a budget of about 200 million VND, and electricity and clean water are installed in each household. In addition, each family is also given a picture of Uncle Ho, the national flag, a 32-inch TV and a breeding cow for economic development.
With the spirit of "Everything for the peaceful and happy life of the People", officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces have made efforts to overcome difficulties, contributing more than 7,000 working days.

Along with the joint efforts of the people and construction units, making an important contribution to completing the project on schedule and ensuring quality.

After more than 2 months of construction, the project has been completed, meeting essential conditions such as electricity, clean water, telecommunications waves, convenient transportation, creating conditions for people to stabilize their lives, develop the economy and participate in border protection.

Representing the households receiving the house, Mr. Dieu Cuong (Bu Nung hamlet, Quang Truc commune) emotionally said that having a solid house is a long-standing desire of many households.
People are committed to actively working and producing, being attached to the area and coordinating with functional forces to protect the border.

Mr. Luu Van Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province - emphasized that residential points adjacent to border militia posts will become "livable milestones", making an important contribution to managing and protecting territorial sovereignty, maintaining political security, social order and safety.

Provincial leaders also requested local authorities to continue to support people to stabilize their lives, develop livelihoods, and gradually build civilized, united, and sustainable residential areas.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 2 individuals; the Provincial Military Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 39 collectives and individuals with achievements in the project implementation process.
