On the morning of March 14, 5 early voting areas in Lam Dong province simultaneously held the opening ceremony of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.

Early election areas include: Voting area No. 37 in Dak Wil commune (Nam Na Border Guard Station, Dak Ken); No. 20 and 21 in Thuan An commune (Dak Dam Border Guard Station, Dak M'Bai); No. 19 in Thuan Hanh commune (Training - Mobile Battalion 1) and No. 18 in Ham Tan commune (Training - Mobile Battalion 2).
Mr. Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Election Commission attended the opening ceremony of the election in the polling area of Training - Mobile Battalion 1, Thuan Hanh commune.

The polling stations are prepared solemnly and in accordance with regulations; the election process is implemented strictly, ensuring democracy and publicity.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, more than 500 voters who are officers and soldiers of the armed forces at border guard units and border army forces participated in voting to elect National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.

Lieutenant Colonel Luong Dinh Hung, Political Commissar of Dak M'Bai Border Guard Station, said that the unit has identified elections as a particularly important political task, so it has developed a plan to thoroughly grasp it to all officers and soldiers.
We organize propaganda and dissemination of the Election Law so that officers and soldiers understand their rights and obligations. Through the votes, officers and soldiers want to select delegates with heart and vision, who pay more attention to the armed forces and people in border areas," Lieutenant Colonel Hung shared.

Units participating in early elections are all stationed in border areas, performing the task of managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and maintaining security and order in the area.
Organizing early voting helps officials and soldiers fulfill their civic duties, and at the same time proactively arrange forces to perform tasks to ensure security for the official election day of the whole province.

Corporal Pham Quoc Dung (20 years old, Dak M'Bai Border Guard Station) shared that this is the first time he has held a ballot while performing military service in the border area.
I feel very proud to participate in the election. I am clearly aware of my responsibility to select delegates with sufficient capacity and qualities to contribute to building an increasingly developed country," Dung said.

After completing early election work, the Border Guard force of Lam Dong province quickly deployed patrols and controls in the border area, coordinating with the Immigration Management Department of the Provincial Police to ensure security and order in the area.
According to the Department of Home Affairs of Lam Dong province, the locality has 6 electoral units for National Assembly deputies, electing 17 deputies. For the Provincial People's Council, there are 38 electoral units, electing 85 deputies and establishing 38 Election Boards.
In 124 communes, wards and special zones, 1,004 Commune-level People's Council Election Boards were established corresponding to 1,004 electoral units, electing 2,949 delegates. The Commune-level People's Committee also established 2,301 polling stations and election teams.
