On April 26, the Women's Committee of An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with the grassroots Youth Union of the Mobile Police Department and a charity group in Long Xuyen ward, organizing a program to give gifts to visually impaired people, orphans and lonely elderly people.

This is a practical activity to celebrate major holidays and important events of the nation: Hung Kings' Death Anniversary and towards the anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30). At the meeting, the delegation cordially inquired, encouraged and presented 130 gifts to visually impaired people in the wards: My Binh, Binh Duc and My Thoi.

The value of each gift is 500,000 VND (including cash and essential necessities). At the same time, 320 loaves of bread were organized to be given to homeless elderly people and children at the An Giang Provincial Social Protection Center.

These gifts, although small in material terms, carry great spiritual value. For visually impaired people or orphans, this is not only a support for living but also a consolation, helping them feel the concern of the community, to celebrate the great holidays of the nation in a warm and meaningful atmosphere; and at the same time spread the spirit of compassion among officials, members and soldiers.

This charity journey once again affirms the pioneering role and social responsibility of the An Giang Provincial Police force. Not only completing the task of maintaining security and order well, the soldiers also always take the lead in social security work, wholeheartedly serving the People and building the image of a beautiful, close and humane People's Police soldier.
