The grand ceremony took place in a solemn and dignified atmosphere at the Temple of Vietnamese National Heroes - National Ancestor Vong Tu, Tuong Long Pagoda. The worship space at the temple is solemnly decorated, including the worship of National Ancestor Lac Long Quan and National Mother Au Co - legendary figures associated with the formation of the Vietnamese nation.
The organization of the Hung Kings Commemoration Ceremony in Do Son not only contributes to preserving and promoting the good traditional cultural values, but is also an opportunity to deeply educate the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", expressing gratitude for the merits of building the country of the Hung Kings and their predecessors, but also affirms Do Son's role in preserving and promoting cultural and spiritual values, contributing to building an increasingly civilized and culturally rich local image.
On the morning of April 26, thousands of Buddhists, people and tourists came to the Tuong Long Tower relic to attend the event.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan (Hai An ward, Hai Phong) shared that from early morning, she and her friends were present at Do Son to attend the grand ceremony. She said that because her health does not allow her to return to Hung Temple to participate in the Hung Kings Commemoration activities, being able to attend the ceremony right in Do Son makes her feel very meaningful. According to Ms. Loan, the atmosphere of the ceremony took place solemnly, attracting a large number of people and tourists to offer incense and commemorate the Hung Kings and their predecessors. She also expressed her wish that in the next year's holiday, she will have the opportunity to return to attend the grand ceremony with her children and grandchildren and family.
