The working delegation of the An Giang Provincial Military Command visited and wished Tet to military units and functional forces of Kep province and Koh Kong province (Kingdom of Cambodia).

On the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday Chôl Chnăm Thmây, on April 7 and 8, a delegation from the Military Command (CHQS) of An Giang province led by Colonel Nguyen Thanh An, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, visited, presented gifts and wished Tet to military units and functional forces of Kep province and Koh Kong province (Kingdom of Cambodia).

The delegation visited and wished Tet at Prek Chak International Border Gate Station, Inter-sectoral Station, Quarantine Station, Customs, Border Gate Police, Kep Military Sub-region and Koh Kong Provincial Military Sub-region and Gendarmerie forces of 2 provinces.

At the visiting units, Colonel Nguyen Thanh An sent his best New Year greetings to the generals, commanders, officers, and soldiers of the units; wishing the forces a new year of good health, happiness, and successful completion of assigned tasks. He also expressed his joy at the increasingly effective results of coordination between the armed forces of An Giang province and units and functional forces of Cambodia in the past time.

Comrade emphasized that the traditional relationship of solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia in general, between the armed forces of An Giang province and units of Kep and Koh Kong provinces in particular, is always preserved and nurtured. The two sides regularly coordinate closely in border management and protection, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the border gate area; and at the same time create favorable conditions for the search and repatriation teams of martyrs of An Giang province to perform tasks on friendly land.

Leaders of army units and functional forces of Cambodia expressed their appreciation for the feelings and concern of the delegation of the Provincial Military Command of An Giang; affirmed that they will continue to closely coordinate, contributing to consolidating and developing the friendly and solidarity relationship between the two sides to become increasingly sustainable.

On this occasion, the working delegation presented many meaningful gifts to units, contributing to further tightening the traditional solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
