Doctors travel more than a thousand kilometers to join hands to take care of people's health after storm Wipha

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Children's Hospital 2 has participated in supporting the health sector of Nghe An province after storm Wipha.

Children's Hospital 2 said that from August 9 to August 11, enthusiastic doctors and nurses brought the mission of white blouse to people at Tuong Duong Medical Center, Ky Son (Nghe An).

Here, hospital doctors and nurses worked with the Ho Chi Minh City medical team to examine, treat and provide free medicine to about 600 people affected by the recent storm Wipha. The activity focuses on vulnerable groups such as children, pregnant women, the elderly, and those who are heavily affected by prolonged floods and inundation.

Doctor Bui Trung Hieu - Children's Hospital 2, participating in this special working trip, shared that in addition to medical examination work, doctors also instruct people on health care measures, especially infectious diseases. At the same time, the delegation presented medicine and medical supplies to continue accompanying the local health sector.

This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and mutual love of Children's Hospital 2 in joining hands with the Ho Chi Minh City Health Sector in protecting people's health across the country.
