Towards the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on May 17, the Training - Mobile Battalion, Hue City Border Guard Command organized for 120 new soldiers to offer flowers and incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Hall and visit the unit's tradition room.
At the memorial room, the new soldiers were introduced to the life, revolutionary career and great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the nation; his feelings and concern for the people's armed forces in general and the border guards in particular.
In a solemn atmosphere, officers and soldiers of the Training - Mobile Battalion respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.
In the tradition room, new soldiers learned about the process of building, fighting and growing up for more than 60 years of Hue City Border Guards; typical achievements in performing the task of managing and protecting national border sovereignty and security on land and sea borders; participating in disaster prevention and control, search and rescue through periods.
Through activities, new soldiers better understand the glorious tradition of the force, contributing to fostering revolutionary ideals, raising sense of responsibility, striving to train and being ready to complete all assigned tasks well.
