On April 17, the Border Guard Command of Hue City organized a conference to draw experience from the operation of local military organizations when implementing the two-level local government model.
After the dissolution of the Border Guard Command and the establishment of the Border Guard Command directly under the Hue City Military Command, the organizational structure was gradually consolidated, and the command and operation mechanism operated relatively synchronously and smoothly.
The Border Guard force of Hue City continues to promote its core role in border management and protection; maintaining political stability and social order and safety in the border area.
At the conference, delegates also pointed out some difficulties and limitations in the process of deploying the new model, especially in coordination, information exchange and ensuring troop numbers in some units.
Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Manh requested that in the coming time, the City Border Guard Command continue to proactively grasp the situation early and from afar; strengthen coordination with departments, branches, and localities; link the task of border protection with socio-economic development, and improve people's lives.
