On August 26, in Quang Truc commune (Lam Dong), Regiment 726 (Army Corps 16) coordinated with the Tuy Duc - Dak R'Lap Agricultural Technical Station to organize a training course on breeding buffalo and breeding cow farming techniques.
The program belongs to the Socio-Economic Development Project - a military model associated with ethnic minority and mountainous areas of the 726th Regiment of National Defense Economic Zone, the 16th Corps in 2024.
At the training course, 179 households in the 726 Regiment project area were instructed by officers of Regiment 726 and officers of the Tuy Duc - Dak R'lap Agricultural Technical Station on the techniques of building livestock barns and waste treatment measures. People are also instructed on how to grow and process food reserves for buffaloes and cows.

During the training course, households raised questions and discussed difficulties and problems encountered in the process of caring for and raising livestock. All were fully answered by the staff.
Immediately after the technical training, households visited and learned from successful breeding models for buffalo and cow.
Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Dinh, Deputy Technical Regiment Commander, Head of the Regiment Project Management Board, said that this is an activity that the unit regularly organizes.
The implementation is effective and practical, demonstrating the responsibility of the 16th Army Corps in accompanying ethnic minorities to develop the economy and stabilize their lives.

Through the training course, households are equipped with a solid grasp of livestock farming techniques, disease prevention and control measures, and build livestock barns, preparing food sources for livestock.
Thereby, households have more income to rise to hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and sustainable poverty reduction.
