Nghe An - Two police officers of Son Lam commune donated blood to help a child with lupus erythematosus overcome the critical condition in time.

On July 25, information from Nghe An Provincial Police said that two police officers of Son Lam commune had just promptly donated blood to support emergency care for a critically ill child.

Previously, on July 20, Nghe An General Friendship Hospital received emergency treatment for child H.T (residing in Hanh Lam commune, Nghe An province).

Baby T has lupus erythematosus, which prevents the body from producing enough blood on its own. Upon admission, the patient was in critical condition and needed emergency blood transfusions.

After receiving the information, the Son Lam Commune Police Youth Union assigned Captain Nguyen Trung Duc and Lieutenant Nguyen Huu Dang to quickly move from the commune police headquarters to the hospital to donate blood.

After completing the procedures according to regulations, two police officers promptly donated blood, helping the medical team have more blood sources to serve the emergency and treatment of baby T.

Thanks to timely blood transfusion, baby T has passed the critical condition and his health is gradually stabilizing.

Son Lam commune is a mountainous commune in the border area located in the Southwest of Nghe An province, established on the basis of merging two communes Thanh Son and Ngoc Lam, formerly belonging to Thanh Chuong district. This locality has a natural area of about 162.94 km2 and a population of 12,331 people.
