On the afternoon of March 20, the Steering Committee for Support for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses (XNT, NDN) of Cao Bang province held a meeting to deploy tasks in the coming time. Mr. Trieu Dinh Le, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee chaired the meeting.
Accordingly, in the period of 2021 - 2024, the whole province of Cao Bang will support 11,880 houses, reaching 60.5%, with a total cost of more than 513 billion VND. In 2024 alone, 6,831 houses were supported, with a total cost of 240 billion VND, of which the central budget was 163 billion VND, the local budget was 26.5 billion VND, and more than 50 billion VND was mobilized for socialization. To date, the province has completed 1,448 houses, is constructing 889 houses, and 4,748 houses have not started construction.

In 2025, according to the plan, Cao Bang province will support 7,115 houses, with a total cost of 371 billion VND. However, the districts assigned a target of 7,085 houses, reducing 30 houses due to checking the wrong subjects.
At the meeting, delegates pointed out difficulties such as poor progress monitoring, lack of support resources, and unsynchronized data. Some localities have not updated the implementation progress accurately, and need to strengthen inspection and supervision.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Trieu Dinh Le requested the Steering Committee to speed up the progress, ensuring the completion of the program in 2025. The members of the Steering Committee must closely follow the area, conduct field checks, compile accurate statistics, and deploy to the right subjects. At the same time, promote propaganda and mobilize resources to ensure the feasibility of the program, remove difficulties and propose appropriate solutions.
