Cao Bang - the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to deploy to support the elimination of temporary houses and dilapidated houses in the province.

In order to drastically implement the emulation movement "Joining hands to build houses for people with meritorious services and poor people" nationwide in 2025, the leaders of Cao Bang province are focusing on directing the implementation fruit and synchronization, strive to complete the goal of supporting housing construction for 7,115 households in Cao Bang province.

Of which, 5,222 households will be supported with new housing construction, 1,893 households will be supported to repair and renovate houses. These figures were given in Plan No. 196/KH-UBND dated January 24, 2025 of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee.

As planned, the supported subjects include households with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs under Decision No. 21/2024/QD-TTg and poor and near-poor households wishing to support (according to Decision No. 69/QD-UBND dated January 22, 2025 of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee).

Support level: 60 million VND/household for new construction, 30 million VND/household for repair. Households subject to social protection can receive higher levels of support from socialization.

Funds made from housing support programs for people with meritorious services, sustainable poverty reduction programs, and legal socialization capital. The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Cao Bang Province is assigned as the unit in charge and coordinating with departments and agencies to implement the plan and report to the Provincial People's Committee. In addition, departments, agencies, provincial Fatherland Front Committee, socio -political organizations, People's Committees of districts and cities also need to base on the task of assigning and seriously implementing the plan.
