Cao Bang implements the Project on preserving ethnic minority folk literature

Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism implements a plan to preserve and promote the values of folk literature of ethnic minorities in the province in 2026.

The project is implemented to preserve and spread the typical values of the treasure of folk literature of ethnic minorities in Cao Bang. Thereby, raising the sense of responsibility of all levels, sectors and people in preserving traditional cultural heritage, contributing to the development of cultural life in ethnic minority communities.

It is expected that in July 2026, the Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize surveys, investigations, statistics and information collection. Coordinate with localities to make a list of about 20 members to participate, select, and invite 2 artisans to support teaching.

Some folk literature works will be staged in staged form to serve performances at community activities and serve visitors. Training support, costume preparation, musical instruments and props will also be implemented to maintain regular activities.

In parallel, mass art programs including original and revised performances will be built, serving the task of preserving and promoting the value of folk literature of ethnic minorities, while meeting the cultural enjoyment needs of people and tourists.

From May to December 2026, the Department will promote propaganda and promotion through many forms such as mass media, Culture, Sports and Tourism News Bulletins, websites, Zalo and Fanpages of the industry.

Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that the implemented contents must closely follow the set plan, ensuring that funds are used for the right purpose and effectively. At the same time, strengthen inspection, guidance and promptly remove difficulties in the implementation process.
