On April 1st (the 14th day of the 2nd year of Binh Ngo), at the main hall of Vietnam Quoc Tu, the Fourth Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (GHPGVN) - Great Venerable Thich Tri Quang, Venerable Certificator of the Executive Board of GHPGVN HCMC, burned the Buddha's incense; the elders of the Venerable Certification Council of the Executive Board of GHPGVN HCMC and the public respectfully performed the Tam Bao ceremony, performing Bodhi rituals according to tradition.
Elder Venerable Thich Minh Thong, Deputy Secretary of the Patronage Council, Patronage of the Executive Board of GHPGVN HCMC, the great leader lectured the Bhikkhus and Bodhisattvas among the public.


Bodhisattva is a special ritual of the Sangha set up by the Buddha when he was alive, this is the day of periodic purification to preach the Dharma. On this occasion, the public reminds each other of the Dharma of Bhikkhus, together nurturing good Dharmas, cultivating the Dharma - Decree - Wisdom, contributing to maintaining and developing the Sangha in a spirit of harmony and purity.

Immediately after the Bodhisattva ceremony, venerable monks attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of GHPGVN (1981 – 2026). This is also a key activity to celebrate the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Buddhist Congress, term 2026 - 2031.

The exhibition displays many valuable images and documents about the formation and development of Vietnamese Buddhism accompanying the nation. The event takes place in the context of Ho Chi Minh City Buddhism making efforts to prepare for the National Congress, showing the spirit of "Discipline - Innovation - Effectiveness - Efficiency".
Through these activities, the city's Buddhism affirms its commitment to continue to contribute to the overall development of the locality and the country in the new era.
