The working delegation of An Giang Provincial Police visited and wished Tet to officers and soldiers of Prek Chak Border Gate Police Station (Kingdom of Cambodia).

On the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday Chôl Chnăm Thmây 2026, on April 7, Colonel Huynh Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police, and the delegation visited and wished Tet to officers and soldiers of Prek Chak Border Gate Police Station (Kingdom of Cambodia). Participating in the delegation were representatives of leaders of some professional departments of the Provincial Police.

At the meeting, in a warm atmosphere of friendship, the working delegation of An Giang Provincial Police sent the best wishes to the leaders, officers, and soldiers of the Prek Chak Border Gate Police Station on the occasion of the Chol Chnam Thmay New Year; wishing the Cambodian Police force always good health, successfully completing assigned tasks, contributing to maintaining security and order, for the peaceful life of the people of the two countries.

Colonel Huynh Thanh Lam emphasized that in the past time, the An Giang Provincial Police force and Cambodian functional forces in general, and Prek Chak Border Gate Police Station in particular, have maintained close and effective coordination in information exchange, crime prevention and combat, and ensuring security and order in the border area. The achieved results have made an important contribution to building a border line of peace, stability, friendship and joint development.

The comrade expressed his wish that in the coming time, the police forces of the two sides will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, strengthen cooperation, and coordinate more closely in ensuring security and order; promptly exchange information and support each other in the fight against and prevention of crimes, especially cross-border crimes, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order and safety in border areas.

Representatives of Prek Chak Border Gate Police Station respectfully thanked the concern and good feelings of An Giang Provincial Police; and affirmed that they will continue to closely coordinate with the Vietnamese Police force in performing their duties, contributing to fostering the traditional friendship and sustainable solidarity between the two countries Vietnam - Cambodia.
