From January 27-28, Da Nang City Police coordinated with the Da Nang City Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) to organize the "Spring of Love" program in 2026 in Avuong commune.
At the program, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Long - Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police and Mr. Doan Ngoc Chung - Director of Da Nang City VBSP Branch directly visited and presented 200 gifts, each worth 900 thousand VND (total value of 180 million VND) to households in particularly difficult circumstances.


The implementation costs are mobilized from the voluntary contributions of officers, soldiers and staff of the two units. The gifts are not only of material value but also timely encouragement, helping people in the highlands celebrate the traditional Tet in a more full and warmer atmosphere.
In addition to supporting households, the Youth Department of the Da Nang City Police Staff Department also presented 61 gifts including backpacks, books and school supplies to preschool and elementary school students in Dang and A Tep villages.
In particular, the soldiers personally prepared and cooked 61 nutritious meals for young children. The total cost for this series of activities is about 20 million VND, deducted from the fund of the Youth Union and the Women's Union of the unit.
This is a meaningful activity to bring the warmth of spring to ethnic minorities and policy families facing many difficulties in the highlands.
