Da Nang police give gifts and build houses for people in border areas

Da Nang - Hundreds of gifts, free medicines, and welfare projects were given by Da Nang City Police to people and students in the La Eee and La Dee border areas.

The delegation of Da Nang City Police led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Kim Trung - Deputy Director of the City Police as Head of the delegation just organized a series of social security activities in two border communes La Eee and La Dee.

In La Dee commune, Da Nang City Police presented 100 gifts to households in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND; and presented 100 gifts including school bags, notebooks and milk to poor students. The funding is supported by VietinBank North Da Nang Branch and socialized sources.

In addition, Hospital No. 1 and Hospital No. 2 of the City Police coordinated with local health stations to provide medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution to 200 people. The total operating cost is about 60 million VND, contributed by officers and soldiers of the two units.

On this occasion, Da Nang City Police presented 100 million VND to support the construction of "House 19-8" for a particularly difficult household in La De commune. The funding is taken from the "Colorful Runway for Peace" program and the "Raising Pigs" movement launched by the City Police Women's Union.

In La Eee commune, the Youth Committee of Da Nang City Police inaugurated and handed over 3 youth projects "Warm Water in the Highlands" at kindergartens, with a total cost of 45 million VND. The projects contribute to improving living and learning conditions for teachers and students in border areas.

In addition to social security activities, the Da Nang City Police Youth Committee also implemented the program "Accompanying Commune Police Youth", supporting information security inspection, and guiding grassroots police officers and soldiers on network security skills in the process of performing tasks.

Also on this occasion, the Youth Committee of Da Nang City Police and the Youth Union of La Eee commune signed a coordination program for the period 2026-2030, promoting the pioneering role of youth in maintaining security and order, building a people's security posture in border areas.

The series of activities not only shares difficulties with people in border areas but also spreads the image of People's Police soldiers who are close to the people and for the people; contributing to consolidating the people's hearts and strengthening the great unity bloc at the border of the Fatherland.
