On November 13, according to Hung Yen Provincial Police, the Provincial Police Director signed a decision to recruit officers for Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan, born in 2002, graduated with a major in Finance - Banking, University of Commerce. Ms. Xuan is the biological sister of Martyr Nguyen Dang Khai - former officer of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Quang Ninh Provincial Police. Martyr Khai's family has only two brothers.
According to the decision, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan was assigned to work at the Economic Security Department - Hung Yen Provincial Police. The selection is carried out according to Circular 21/2023/TT-BCA dated June 22, 2023 of the Minister of Public Security on the process of selecting citizens to join the People's Public Security under the 6-month temporary selection form. After the probationary period, if she completes her tasks well, comrade Nguyen Thi Xuan will be considered for transfer to the official payroll.
This decision shows the deep concern of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Hung Yen Provincial Police, and at the same time, is a gratitude and encouragement for the martyrs' families, helping them to firmly overcome the loss, stabilize their lives, and continue the tradition of dedication of the People's Public Security soldiers.
Previously, on the evening of April 17, 2025, in the process of fighting a large-scale drug trafficking and transportation ring led by Nguyen Huu Dang (born in 1967, Quang Ninh province), the Quang Ninh Provincial Police force arrested two subjects, seizing 16 heroin cakes in the area near Dragon Castel apartment building, Bai Chay ward.
While chasing the fleeing people, the subjects used military weapons to attack, seriously injuring Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Dang Khai (born in 1996, from Quang Hung commune, Hung Yen province). Although he was taken to the emergency room by his comrades, he bravely sacrificed himself.
Immediately afterwards, General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security - signed a decision to promote comrade Nguyen Dang Khai from Senior Lieutenant to Major from April 17, 2025, in recognition of his brave sacrifice for the peace of people's lives.
