Overcoming local difficulties, Dak Somei Commune Police implemented many solutions to accelerate the issuance of ID cards and activate VNeID accounts.

According to the Gia Lai Provincial Police Electronic Information Portal, in the past time, with the spirit of "serving the people", Dak Somei Commune Police (Gia Lai) has implemented many solutions to speed up the process of issuing ID cards and guiding the activation of electronic identification accounts (VNeID) for people in the area.

As an area with a large number of ethnic minorities living, a large area, and uneven population distribution, the locality faces many difficulties in the implementation process. The awareness of a part of the population, especially the elderly, about electronic identification accounts is still limited.

The rate of smartphone users is not high, while telecommunications and internet waves in some remote and isolated areas are not stable. In addition, people often go to work in the fields from morning to night, living in pond houses in the fields, so gathering citizens during office hours faces many obstacles.

Faced with the above reality, the Commune Police proactively advised the Commune People's Committee, coordinated with departments, branches, unions, the political system in villages and commune digital technology groups to implement many solutions.

The unit promotes the role of village elders, village heads and prestigious people in the community, combined with propaganda in ethnic languages at Rong house activities to help people understand the benefits of ID cards and VNeID accounts.

The police force also established mobile working groups, working in the evening and on holidays to go to villages to support people in installing and activating electronic identification accounts. For elderly and sick people, officers and soldiers use personal vehicles to pick them up or bring equipment to the place to carry out procedures.

Community digital technology teams are guided professionally, coordinated with the Police force to go to each area to support the installation of applications, guide operations and answer questions for people.

At the same time, the commune police coordinated with Viettel and Mobifone to organize free SIM cards at mobile dossier collection points, combined with standardizing the main subscriber information according to regulations. This solution helps remove obstacles related to non-genuine SIM cards, creating favorable conditions for activating VNeID level 2 accounts.

In the first 6 months of 2026, Dak Somei Commune Police organized dozens of focused propaganda sessions, collected 818 ID card application dossiers, guided and successfully activated 1,702 electronic identification accounts for eligible citizens. This result contributes to ensuring "correct, sufficient, clean, living" population data, serving the implementation of Project 06 in the locality.

In the coming time, Dak Somei Commune Police will continue to review the remaining cases, maintain the implementation progress to complete the assigned targets, contributing to promoting digital transformation in the area.
