With the characteristic of being a border area with a large number of ethnic minorities and religious people living, recently Nhon Hoi Commune Police (An Giang) proactively implemented many solutions to ensure security and order; strengthened propaganda and mobilized dignitaries, officials, reputable people and believers to participate in the all-people movement to protect national security, according to the Electronic Information Portal (TTĐT) of An Giang Provincial Police.
The commune police force has built and implemented many plans to ensure security and order; launched a movement for the whole people to protect national security; and at the same time consolidated and improved the quality of self-management models in religions and ethnicities. Thereby, mobilizing the strength of the entire political system and people to participate in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.
The commune police also identified the work of mobilizing dignitaries, officials, and people with prestige in religion and ethnicity as a key task.
On holidays, Tet and religious events, the unit organizes visits and gifts to places of worship to strengthen the close relationship between the Police force and religions in the area.
Through meetings and contacts, commune police integrate propaganda of legal regulations on traffic order and safety, prevention and combat of drug crimes, property theft, illegal entry and exit; and at the same time coordinate to manage and educate youth and people at risk of violating the law in the locality.
Through contact work, the Commune Police has received a lot of valuable information related to the security and order situation; promptly recorded the thoughts and legitimate aspirations of believers and the contributions of dignitaries, officials, and prestigious people. This is an important basis contributing to ensuring political security and social order and safety in the area.
In the coming time, Nhon Hoi Commune Police will continue to maintain meetings and mobilize dignitaries, officials, and people with prestige in religion and ethnicity; promote the role of religions in the all-people movement to protect national security, contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc and building the people's security posture.
