Commune police in Phu Tho help people get back lost property

Phu Tho - Chi Dam Commune Police quickly verified and returned the wallet containing cash and many important papers to the person who dropped it.

On August 13, Phu Tho Provincial Police said that Chi Dam Commune Police had just helped people get back their lost property.

Previously, on August 10, 2026, Chi Dam Commune Police received a report from Mr. Nguyen Khac Tiep (born in 1990, residing in Minh Giang village, Chi Dam commune) about dropping a wallet on the way from home to Chi Dam market.

The brown leather wallet contained 1 ID card, 1 vehicle registration certificate, 1 B2 driver's license, all in the name of Nguyen Khac Tiep.

Inside the wallet there was also 1,242,000 VND in cash.

Immediately after receiving the report, Chi Dam Commune Police urgently verified and reviewed the areas that Mr. Tiep may have passed through.

On August 11, the commune police identified Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung (born in 1992, residing in Van Tien 3 village, Chi Dam commune) as the person who picked up the wallet.

The commune police invited relevant people to the headquarters to clarify the incident, check the assets and make a record according to regulations.

After comparing the information, all documents and the amount of 1,242,000 VND were handed over to Mr. Nguyen Khac Tiep.

Mr. Tiep checked and confirmed that he had received enough lost property.
