Lao Cai - Picking up a wallet of a Chinese citizen, people in Tan Hop commune handed it over to the police. The property was then returned to the representative of the victim.

On July 30, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Tan Hop Commune Police had just returned the lost property to the representative of Mr. Hua Kien Hoa (Chinese nationality). At the same time, the unit praised a citizen for his honest action when he proactively handed over the found property.

Previously, on July 1, Mr. Trinh Huu Tu (born 1975, residing in Tan Hop commune) picked up a wallet in the area. Inside the wallet were personal papers, a bank card in Hua Kien Hoa's name, and a sum of money in yuan.

Mr. Tu brought all his assets to Tan Hop Commune Police to hand over.

After receiving the information, Tan Hop Commune Police recorded the information provided by Mr. Tu and implemented measures to verify the owner.

Information is notified to villages in the area, neighboring localities and posted on social networks to find owners.

By July 29, the commune police identified the related person and proceeded to return all assets to Ms. Do Thi Ly (born in 1985, residing in Xuan Ai commune, Lao Cai province), who is a friend of Mr. Hua Kien Hoa.

Receiving the property back, Ms. Do Thi Ly, on behalf of Mr. Hua Kien Hoa, thanked Mr. Trinh Huu Tu for his honest and responsible actions. At the same time, she thanked Tan Hop Commune Police for actively supporting the verification and return of the property.

According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, the quick receipt, verification and return of lost property shows the spirit of responsibility and dedication of the grassroots police force in serving the people.
