Towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), with the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude", Yen Phu Commune Police (Tuyen Quang province) in coordination with Minh Phu Village Development Board 2 organized visits and gifts to the family of martyr Do Van Xep, residing in Minh Phu Village 2, according to the e-Portal of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police.
The activity has profound political, social and humane significance, expressing the gratitude of the police force together with the Party Committee, government and local people for those who have contributed and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland.
At the family, representatives of the Yen Phu Commune Police Command and the Village Development Board cordially inquired about the health and life of the martyrs' relatives, listened to the thoughts and aspirations of the families; and expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices of the heroic martyrs for the independence and freedom of the nation.
The gifts presented, although not of great material value, show the feelings, responsibility and concern of the Police force, Party committees, authorities and local people towards families with meritorious services to the revolution. This is a source of spiritual encouragement, contributing to spreading the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude" of the nation.
According to Yen Phu Commune Police, the activity of visiting policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution is maintained annually on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day. Thereby contributing to caring for the material and spiritual life of families with meritorious services, while educating patriotic traditions, fostering revolutionary ideals and raising the sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers in performing the task of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and serving the people.
