On July 21, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police said that Tam Kim Commune Police had coordinated with forces and people to find a 95-year-old man lost in the forest and bring him back to reunite with his family.

K (born 1931, residing in Dong Tam hamlet, Tam Kim commune) going into the forest and losing contact since July 18, Tam Kim Commune Police urgently mobilized forces to deploy search operations.

The working groups were divided into many groups, focusing on reviewing forest areas, streams, swiddens and places Mr. B.V. K often passes through.

The search process encountered many difficulties due to the rugged hilly terrain, dense forests, and unfavorable weather. However, with high determination, the forces still persistently expanded the search scope.
After many hours of effort, functional forces found Mr. B.V. K. Right at the scene, the old man was encouraged, received initial health care, and supported with drinking water and food before being brought home safely. Currently, the old man's health has stabilized.

According to the family, due to old age, reduced memory, poor hearing and the habit of frequently going to the forest, the old man got lost.
Mr. B.V. K's family expressed their emotion and sent thanks to Tam Kim Commune Police and local forces and people for overcoming difficulties and actively participating in the search, helping the old man return safely.
