Working Group No. 11 - Department C10, Ministry of Public Security pays tribute to policy families in Vinh Long

Vinh Long - Working Group No. 11 - Department C10, Ministry of Public Security organized a ceremony to pay tribute and give gifts to policy families on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

On July 23, Party and mass work cluster No. 11 under Department C10 - Ministry of Public Security organized the program "Meeting and giving gifts to express gratitude to policy families" in Truong Long Hoa ward, towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025).

The program was attended by Major General Nguyen Viet Hung - Deputy Director of Department C10, leaders of prisons in Cluster 11 and local representatives of Truong Long Hoa ward.

The program presented 30 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to policy families, war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs' relatives, demonstrating the principle of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the People's Public Security force.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Viet Hung expressed his deep gratitude for the sacrifices of heroic martyrs and the great contributions of policy families, and affirmed that this is a noble symbol of patriotism.

According to Mr. Hung, the program was organized to express sincere gratitude, while clearly demonstrating the responsibility of the People's Public Security soldiers to history and the people.

Not only is it an occasion for remembrance and gratitude, the activity also contributes to fostering revolutionary ideals, arousing pride and service spirit in each officer and soldier.

"The program continues to spread the glorious tradition of "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people" of the People's Public Security force, further strengthening the affection and close coordination between the police force and the local government and people", Mr. Hung added.
