On July 23, Chairman of Lu Quang Ngoi Provincial People's Committee had a working session with Long Huu Commune People's Committee on the current situation of operating the two-level local government model in the commune, handling administrative procedures, receiving people and facilities.
At the meeting, Mr. Le Thanh Tam - Chairman of Long Huu Commune People's Committee - reported that the apparatus of the two-level government has stabilized after the merger from July 1, 2025.
In the first 2 weeks, the Public Administration Service Center received more than 300 records, resolving nearly 96% on time. The commune also proactively opened its offices on Saturday mornings to support people.

In terms of socio-economics, Long Huu commune achieved or exceeded 13/31 targets in 2025. High-tech agriculture, VietGAP seafood, OCOP products, education, healthcare, and culture have changed positively. The high school graduation rate is 100%, the commune maintains national standards on health.
In addition, the Commune Chairman also raised a number of difficulties such as: lack of specialized human resources in some areas such as education, healthcare, science and technology; data synchronization, some software need to be improved, transport infrastructure for production needs to be upgraded, and investment in waste treatment plants should be called for soon to minimize environmental impact.
At the meeting, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lu Quang Ngoi province acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Long Huu commune in quickly stabilizing the apparatus after merging and operating the 2-level local government model.
At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the locality to continue to promote the proactive spirit, study in depth the regulations, update new instructions to effectively and in accordance with regulations.

Regarding personnel work, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the commune needs to arrange civil servants suitable for their abilities and strengths; assign the Department of Home Affairs to review and supplement the missing personnel in the field of in-depth expertise. At the same time, it is required to pay attention to investing in equipment for the Public Administration Service Center to serve people more conveniently and effectively.
Departments and branches need to urgently advise and remove obstacles in the operation of software systems, ensure data connection, and resolve administrative procedures smoothly. The Provincial People's Committee Office fully compiles recommendations from the working session to promptly advise on handling", the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed.
