The city maintains and expands the raw material area. Prioritizes the development of Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs with economic value, suitable for ecological conditions. The area of organic medicinal herbs produced reaches 529.5 ha, meeting good practice standards.
The proportion of organic livestock products reaches 2–3% of total output. The added value of organic products is 1.5–1.8 times higher than conventional products.
By 2035, the area of organic agricultural land will reach 3.5–4%, equivalent to 2,554.5 ha. The area of organic medicinal herb cultivation will reach 688.35 ha. The rate of organic livestock farming will increase to 3–4%. Organic aquaculture accounts for 1.5–3% of the area.
The project focuses on forming concentrated organic production areas. Developing key products associated with rural tourism. Investing in technical infrastructure to serve production.
The city promotes production linkages, building key models and pilot projects. Strengthen public-private dialogue to support businesses and cooperatives.
In parallel, promote research and application of technology in organic production. Improve the efficiency of state management and law enforcement.
Da Nang also builds an identification system, towards organic agricultural brands. Promoting trade promotion and product certification. Organizing training and human resource training and perfecting support mechanisms.
