Currently, the People's Committees of A Vuong, Tay Giang and Hung Son communes have completed the proposed design plan, investment portfolio and construction needs of inter-level primary and secondary boarding schools.
To ensure the progress of starting construction, completing and putting into use for teaching services from the 2026-2027 school year, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Civil, Industrial and Infrastructure of Da Nang recommends that the City People's Committee consider and approve the policy of appointing bids for consulting packages to prepare feasibility study reports, design construction drawings - estimates and construction estimates according to Decree No. 214/2025/ND-CP dated August 4, 2025 of the Government.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested relevant departments and branches to fully and carefully prepare the conditions to organize the project launching ceremony on the morning of August 19, 2025 in Tay Giang commune. The Department of Education and Training coordinates with the Management Board to review and complete the content on the scale and overview of the project.
The city police, the Military Command and the Border Guard will develop a plan to ensure absolute safety, security and order and conduct mine clearing in the area.
Currently, in the 6 mountainous communes of the city, there are a total of 20 schools of all levels (pedestrian, junior high school and inter-level primary and secondary school) with about 5,422 students.
Including 16 boarding schools for ethnic minorities, 1 boarding school for ethnic minorities; primary schools include 11 schools with 2,968 students and 174 classrooms (167 solid rooms, 7 semi-solid rooms), secondary schools have 7 schools with 1,831 students, 49 solid classrooms, and inter-level primary and secondary schools have 2 schools with 623 students, 35 classrooms (33 solid, 2 semi-solid).
This is an important basis for the city to calculate and invest in border school projects scientifically, safely and effectively.
